So you've noticed that tools, technologies, genomics and bioinformatics are
no longer fundable business models. And that most of the companies getting
financed in the last year were biopharmaceutical companies with products
already in the clinic. Why are biopharma products now in favor with the
venture community? why are the business models of the late 90s no longer in
vogue?
We'll hear from a Wall Street-savvy banker and a Genentech alum turned
venture capitalist. Please join us on April 2 when Matthew Plunkett (CIBC
Capital Markets) and Rodney Ferguson (JP Morgan Chase Capital) give us their
views on what business models are fundable.
Networking session will follow.
