James Audet, MD, MBA, Russell Reynolds Associates

Jim Audet is a Managing Director in the San Francisco office of Russell Reynolds Associates, a leading global executive search firm. Dr Audet recruits senior executives in the healthcare industry with a focus on biotechnology, pharmaceutical and other life sciences companies. Previously Jim practiced general internal medicine at Harvard Community Health Plan in Boston and at the Palo Alto Medical Clinic. Dr Audet has been on the clinical faculty at both Harvard and Stanford Medical Schools. Dr. Audet left medical practice to earn an MBA at Stanford Business School. After receiving his MBA, Dr. Audet was a healthcare management consultant in the San Francisco office of Bain & Company, an international strategic consulting firm. He joined Russell Reynolds Associates in 1998. Jim is currently a member of the Advisory Council for Cell Biology and Pathology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Audet received his BS in chemistry from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst; his AM in chemistry from Harvard University; his MD from Harvard Medical School; and his MBA from Stanford Business School.

Gene Early, PhD, Genomic Health, Co-founder and Vice President of Organizational Development

Organizational Development brings more than twenty-five years of experience in working with executive leadership and organizational systems to Genomic Health. Dr. Early has served as Vice-Chancellor of Operations at the University of the Nations-Kona, and spearheaded the University's organizational and strategic development processes. He also co-founded the first training institute for Neuro-Linguistic Programming in Europe and developed a network of such institutes in six European countries. Dr. Early has worked in the genomics industry to provide executive coaching and team development and has worked with the Academy of Chief Executives in the United Kingdom. Gene holds a PhD in leadership and organizational development from the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies (Oxford, England) with research focused on the role of the chief executive in organizational transformation. His passion is developing networked organizations.

Rebecca Gardiner, Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Dynamics

Rebecca Gardiner joined Connetics in 1996 and has served as Senior Vice President Human Resources and Organizational Dynamics since January 2002. Ms. Gardiner served as served as Vice President of Human Resources from December 1999 to December 2002, and as Director of Human Resources from 1996 through November 1999. She worked at COR Therapeutics from 1990 to 1996 in the positions of Manager of Research Administration, Manager of Human Resources, and Senior Manager of Human Resources. Ms. Gardiner also worked at Genelabs as Manager of Research Administration from 1988 to 1990, at Genentech in 1987, and in various hospital administration positions from 1984 to 1987. Ms. Gardiner received her B.A. from UC Santa Barbara and her M.P.A. in Health Sciences from the University of San Francisco.
