BioE2E http://www.bioe2e.org/ , together with the Buck Institute for Age Research http://www.buckinstitute.org/ and the Women's Technology Cluster http://www.sf-wtc.org/ , are pleased to announce this year's Pitch Event on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at the Buck Institute beginning at 9am - noon. Lunch will be served in the atrium. All are welcome to stay and continue networking after lunch.
There is no fee to present. The cost is $30 for everyone presenting and attending. This includes your box lunch as well as coffee service.
California-based early-stage biotech and device entrepreneurs are invited to submit a one-paragraph idea (no business plan required).
BioE2E ('Biotech Entrepreneur to Entrepreneur') will invite nine entrepreneurs to develop and present a 10-page presentation ('pitch') to a panel of venture investors. The aim of the Pitch Event is to help bioentrepreneurs refine their pitch and value proposition, and improve their chances of raising funding. The audience will benefit as they listen to venture investors offer feedback ' in real time' to entrepreneurs about their concept and presentation.
Entrepreneurs are invited to submit a one paragraph idea (see below for submission critieria) to Peter David (peter.david@biodtx.com) or Constance McKee (chinarock@aol.com) by August 31. We are seeking nine submissions. Good luck!
The Pitch Event will take place on Saturday September 17 at the Buck
Institute. (Click for Directions to the Buck Institute) . Bioentrepreneurs will
present to our panel, hand-picked to be thoughtful in providiing feedback (Is this
a venture-fundable deal? how clear is your "problem - solution" in supporting
the underlying opportunity?). BioE2E is pleased to welcome back our panelists
